Club ride on Sunday 28th Feb
The ride will start from Turton High School and Recreation Centre, Bromley Cross Road, Bolton BL7 9LT at 10am. There is car parking there. Twenty miles including café stop. Mostly quiet country lanes, a few hills. Easy pace. Starting a bit later as it will be frosty overnight.

BTC Juniors Swim Development Group Thursdays 7.45 to 9pm Smithills Pool
This Thursday evening session has been running for 4 weeks and there are still plenty of places available. The main focus of this group is improving technique for all 4 strokes and we are already seeing marked improvement by the children who are attending. Even if your child goes to a swimming club who have a session on a Thursday it would be worth going to this session instead for a few months because the coach is a professional swim coach and working on technique will make a big difference in overall performance. If we can't fill the remaining places from Bolton Tri Club juniors then we will have to open it up to another swimming club. The session is suitable for swimmers who are in Stuart's or Aiden's groups on a Saturday (the 4 lanes furthest from the viewing area)
The session is run in conjunction with with Bolton Metro Swimming Squad (BMSS). Let me or Steve Jones know if you want your child to attend and just turn up. Then we can sort out fees etc afterwards. The cost is £10 a month to be paid by standing order and swimmers will need to join BMSS which is £15 for a year. If you are not already an ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) member then Bolton Tri Club will pay for this (normally £14.50)

Club Bike Ride Meet 9.30 at Leverhulme
Sunday 14th Feb. Rivington and back maybe returning via Belmont. Sprint distance bike ride with nice views and cafe stop. Weather forecast is very cold but dry and sunny. Wear a few layers.
