Juniors come third in NW club championships

22 juniors from Bolton Tri Club were amongst the 250 who took part in the Blackpool Junior Triathlon and NW Club Championships on Sunday. They all gave 100% and we ended up joint third in the boys and fourth in the girls. This was a great result and they all supported each other. Amelia Rose - 1st in Tristart girls, Georgia Heath - 1st in T1 girls, Marcus Dey - 2nd in T3 boys. Sam Atherton, Jonah Harrison and Rhys Whelan stepped up to do their first standard distance races. Sam Brooks did his first triathlon and came fifth in Youth boys. No space to mention everyone although they all deserve a mention but I will do that in Bolton News article next week.
